KonnectEasy is a marketplace that connects members with Experts (Advisors) across professional and personal fields. Members can discover Experts (Advisors), request advice, and recommend Experts (Advisors) to others. Users may earn commissions when referrals result in successful outcomes.

For purposes of this Privacy Policy:

A member may act in either role in different consultations.

4Referral & Commission System

KonnectEasy allows users to share expert profiles and earn commissions when referrals lead to successful engagements. We track referrals using cookies, referral links, and identifiers to ensure accurate attribution.

5Payment Processing (Stripe)

We use Stripe as our third-party payment processor to handle secure payments and payouts.

• All payment card information is handled directly by Stripe
• KonnectEasy does not store full credit card details on its servers
• Stripe may collect and process personal and payment information according to their privacy policy
• Stripe is responsible for PCI-DSS compliance and secure payment handling

By using our platform, you also agree to Stripe’s privacy policy and terms of service.

11Meetings and Member-to-Member Communications

KonnectEasy enables members to connect through meetings and virtual meetings for the purpose of sharing knowledge, exchanging information, providing advice, and discussing personal or professional matters.

Meetings are conducted through third-party conferencing services independently selected and managed by participating members, including Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.

11.1Meeting Information Collection and Storage

When members schedule or participate in meetings arranged through KonnectEasy, we collect and store certain meeting-related information, including:

• Meeting dates and scheduled times
• Participant identities and associated member accounts
• Meeting conferencing invitation links
• Meeting invitation details and scheduling history
• Records of previously scheduled meetings

This information is used to facilitate meeting arrangements, manage invitations, maintain meeting history, support platform functionality, and address scheduling or account-related concerns.

11.2Privacy and Confidentiality

Both the member providing advice ("Expert (Advisor)") and the member receiving advice ("Recipient") are expected to respect each other's privacy and maintain the confidentiality of personal, professional, or sensitive information shared during meetings.

Members should not disclose, distribute, publish, or share confidential information obtained during a meeting without the permission of the individual who provided the information, except where required or permitted by applicable law.

Members are encouraged to exercise discretion when discussing sensitive personal information, financial matters, business strategies, proprietary information, or other confidential subjects.

11.3Recording and Consent

KonnectEasy does not record, capture, or store video or audio communications conducted between members.

Members must obtain prior consent from all participants before recording, capturing, reproducing, or distributing any portion of a meeting, including audio, video, screenshots, or other meeting content.

Any recording, storage, or distribution of meeting content must comply with applicable privacy, data protection, and recording consent laws.

Unauthorized recording or distribution of meeting content may result in account restrictions or termination in accordance with KonnectEasy's Terms and Conditions.

11.4Personal Information Shared During Meetings

During meetings, members may voluntarily disclose personal or professional information, including names, contact details, professional backgrounds, experiences, business information, or other information relevant to the discussion.

Each participant is responsible for determining what information they choose to disclose.

KonnectEasy encourages members to avoid sharing highly sensitive information, including passwords, financial account credentials, government identification numbers, or other information that could expose them to fraud, identity theft, or unauthorized access.

Members receiving personal information from another participant are expected to handle that information responsibly and comply with applicable privacy laws.

11.5Third-Party Video Conferencing Services

Video meetings arranged through KonnectEasy are conducted using third-party video conferencing services independently selected and managed by participating members.

These services may include Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or other communication platforms.

KonnectEasy does not host or operate these video conferencing services and does not control their independent data collection, recording, storage, or security practices.

Members are responsible for managing their own conferencing accounts, meeting settings, access permissions, and security configurations.

Information collected or processed directly by these third-party services is subject to their respective privacy policies and terms of service.

11.6Meeting Information Sharing

KonnectEasy does not sell meeting-related personal information or share stored meeting information with unrelated third parties for their independent marketing or commercial purposes.

Relevant meeting details, including scheduled dates, times, participant identities, and invitation links, may be made available to the members involved in the respective meeting.

Meeting-related information may also be processed by authorized service providers supporting the operation of KonnectEasy, such as hosting and infrastructure providers, as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.

KonnectEasy may disclose meeting-related information when required by applicable law or valid legal process.

11.7Data Security and Protection

KonnectEasy takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect meeting-related information stored on its platform against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse.

Access to meeting information is intended to be limited to authorized personnel and the members involved in the respective meeting, as appropriate.

Although KonnectEasy strives to protect stored information, no electronic storage system or internet-based communication can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Members are encouraged to protect their account credentials, keep meeting invitation links private, and avoid sharing meeting access information with unauthorized individuals.

11.8Meeting History and Data Retention

KonnectEasy maintains records of scheduled and previously arranged meetings to support account functionality, provide members with access to their meeting history, and facilitate the management of past and upcoming appointments.

Meeting history may include meeting dates, participant identities, invitation links, and related scheduling information.

Meeting-related information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, or maintain the security and integrity of the platform.

Members may contact KonnectEasy to inquire about their stored meeting information or request deletion of personal information, subject to applicable legal requirements and legitimate retention obligations.

11.9Member Responsibilities and Privacy Protection

All members participating in meetings are expected to respect the privacy, confidentiality, and personal boundaries of other participants.

Members must not misuse personal information obtained during meetings for harassment, identity theft, fraud, unauthorized marketing, or other unlawful purposes.

Personal information shared during a meeting must not be sold, published, or distributed without appropriate authorization or another valid legal basis.

Both Experts (Advisors) and Recipients are responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws and respecting the rights of other participants.

11.10Privacy Concerns and Reporting

Members who believe their privacy has been violated during a meeting arranged through KonnectEasy are encouraged to report the incident to KonnectEasy.

Privacy concerns may include unauthorized recordings, improper disclosure of personal information, misuse of confidential information, or unauthorized sharing of meeting invitation links.

KonnectEasy may review reported incidents and take appropriate action in accordance with its Terms and Conditions and applicable laws.

11.11Acknowledgment of Privacy Practices

By scheduling, accepting, or participating in a video call arranged through KonnectEasy, members acknowledge that meeting-related information may be collected and stored as described in this Privacy Policy.

Members understand that KonnectEasy facilitates meeting arrangements but does not host, record, or monitor the content of meetings conducted through independently managed third-party conferencing services.

Both Experts (Advisors) and Recipients are expected to respect each other's privacy and comply with applicable laws governing personal information and electronic communications.

12Children's Privacy

KonnectEasy is not intended for individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
